Just got back from seeing David at Kerr st. festival in Oakville, awesome night.

I remember hearing this on the radio back in the day once in awhile and often wondered who did this back then , good tune and really great guitar playing with lots of feel.

Always made my playlist. To this day.

I miss my friend Jackson Spires, its, hard to listen too listen to these tunes of BLACKFOOT with out his smooth rolls across thoses DRUMS, I will all ways be great full his tallent and friend ship we had I remember the last time we spoke to one another was in Melbourne ,Fla then I would get the tragic, news, from my friend RAY at a Rock Roll Heaven Record Shop in orlando fla 2 yrs, later my Best friend Duane Rolland, would pass at 2006 I remember when he showed how proud he was of that album it had gone platinum at his condo in pine hills fla I miss all my friends, who has past in southern Rock

Neil is just amazing. I am a Van Halen type guitar player, but guys like Neil, are just so good at what they do I throw him in the mix with the other bad asses. I know his leads are somewhat unorganized, but come on the writing and honesty of his work can at time make tapping pale in comparison.

How I'd love to share a stage with this dude, and rock this song on guitar with him, would be fucking amazing!

I cant seem to be able to respond to comments, so I'll make my own. Rickey has only one lung. NOT a throat problem. Gigs have to be arranged by how he feels, what his doc says, and around every other day, at best. I've FOH'd Blackfoot back in the late 70's. I know first hand.

I was about the only person besides my girlfriend who listened to this band in my whole home town of Yuma Az back in the 80' s along with many other Canadian rockers. Rock on at!

Now THAT is the voice of Blackfoot!, sorry but the new band doesn't have the heart of the music figured out yet, I hope they get it but as it sits today they need a better more Ricky-like singer, and some guys that can truly rock it southern style, NOT Metallica style.

I met Rick in an airport the morning after Skynyrd played a gig nearby. Nice guy. I told him I've been a fan since WAY back before the "Strikes" album. He said, "Ah...you're an old fart like me." What was funny was Gary Rossington was traveling with him and was basically hiding behind Rick looking nervous. I can only guess he doesn't like crowds.
